Dear Friends and Supporting Churches,

Since our last prayer letter, we have seen God continue to work in many ways, in spite of the COVID-19 crisis. I do not take lightly what is happening to our nation, our churches, our families and our people. Some at Freestate have experienced loss of family members and other friends and relatives touched by this virus. However, God was not taken off guard by this, and by faith we are continuing to push forward and upward!

At the end of our last prayer letter, we were meeting in the parking lot with everyone in their vehicles tuning in to the radio. Shortly after that, we had a few outdoor services at our entrance way of the building we rent. Anne Arundel County then opened places where people can gather indoors to fifty percent capacity. We are now meeting at that capacity and our attendance has been higher than before the virus outbreak!

The following are some things taking place at Freestate Baptist Church:
Five saved; four baptized; one joined the church. Many visitors have come, including a friend of one of our members who started coming because we have been praying for the health of her little boy. She then started bringing her entire family. Pray God’s will be done with them whether for salvation, or for attending a Bible preaching church. Another couple has been coming since February and is now bringing family members. Please pray for Sheree Dempsey for salvation. A young lady named Crystal has settled in the area and has started coming faithfully. Please pray she will join, and God can use her in a great way serving with us. Since our start, we have always had at least one midshipman from the Naval Academy with us. This past Sunday, a couple visited with us. Their son started attending the academy this summer. We now continue to have a connection with the Naval Academy. Please pray the academy will lift the virus restrictions so he can come and serve with us. We have kept the bus ministry alive by meeting with them in a local neighborhood playground. We are preparing to carefully bring them back to church as the cold weather approaches. Please pray that will go well.
God is good! It’s amazing to see Him provide ways to continue on in His work!

Please continue to pray for the virus to subside. Pray for our churches that are under severe attack by way of this virus. Pray for the correct person to be elected President. Pray God’s people will vote. Pray for God’s people to, “Take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Thank you all for your prayers, support, and participation in the ministry of Freestate Baptist Church. With the holidays approaching, we trust you will be safe, and blessed in all you do!

For Jesus,
