At Capitol Hill Bible Institute, we make Christ's last command our first priority:

If you are saved, baptized, and a faithful member of GraceWay, we desire to teach you:

1. The structure and themes of each book of the Bible
2. How to study and rightly interpret the Bible
3. How to share your faith effectively
4. How to answer questions about specific Bible doctrines
5. The purpose and mission of the New Testament church
6. How to teach others the Bible
7. The principles of establishing a Christian home

Capital Hill Bible Institute currently offers a Biblical Studies program consisting of four 12-week semesters. We conduct three class sessions per week on Sunday evenings. Ministry practicums, additional reading, and a mission trip are also required.

Capitol Hill Bible Institute is $200 per semester. This includes tuition, textbooks, and meals provided at class time. A typical class schedule on Sunday afternoon will run as follows:

Class Schedule

• 1:00-1:30 Lunch
• 1:40-2:30 Class One
• 2:40-3:30 Class Two
• 3:40-4:30 Class Three

Ministry Practicum Per Semester

• Soulwinning/Outreach - 6 hours
• Preaching/Teaching - 2 hours
• Ministry Participation - 4 hours

Pastor's Reading Requirement

Pastor Wells will assess your particular life stage and ministry pursuit and assign one book per semester for required reading. (Note: Borrowing books is allowed, but purchasing for your own library is recommended.)

Mission Trip Requirement

You will be required to join at least one GraceWay Missions Trip. (Note: Costs vary and are separate from tuition.)

Commencement

Upon completion, you will receive a Biblical Studies Certificate. GraceWay Baptist Church will host a Capitol Hill Bible Institute graduation ceremony. You may also graduate with the current School of the Bible class at Crown College in Knoxville, TN.
